1-st day: The Holy Dormition Pochayiv Lavra- the Holy Spirit monastery)- the Source of St. Anna (Onyshkivtsi) - the Castle hill(Kremenets) - Kremenets sightseeing – the Kremenets Epiphany monastery. 2-nd day. Berestechko traditionally is the place of the historical memory of Ukrainians - field of the famous battle in the war of national liberation of the XVII century in 1651. The Holy Trinity Cathedral is its heart. It was built in the beginning of the XX century in honour of the perished Cossack
s, near it there is the museum of Berestetska battle and the majestic monument in the field. Interested persons can get acquainted with the monument to Prince Pronsky – “Stone pillar”, and the chapel of Saint Thekla, which was founded in the tragic days of Tatar raids.
Dubno castle has on its territory two palaces – Ostrog and Lubomyrskyh, located on the bank of the river Ikva, attracts visitors with its perfection and successful natural location: the Castle has wonderful views over the Polesie lowland. In the castle You can go along the original underground passage, which led, in the past, to the river boat.
On the outskirts of Dubno, in the forest area near the village Tarakaniv there is heavy fortifications of the XIX century, built on the order of the Russian authorities as a border fortress. In spite of the fact that Tarakaniv Fort had to survive in two world wars, it is quite well preserved and amazes visitors with its power and perfection.
